Newsletter signups: your email address, plus the page you signed up from and any state or topics you choose.

Contact messages: your name, email address, the topic you pick and your message.

With both, we also record basic technical details, your IP address and browser type, to prevent spam and abuse. We do not sell or rent this information, share it with data brokers, or use it to track you across other websites.

We plan to use Google AdSense to show ads, and ad code is not on the site yet. When ads appear on our pages, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and other sites on the internet. These cookies can read your IP address, browser and device details, and the pages you view.

Google explains how it handles this data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Ads never change what we write, and our guides are not paid placements.

You can turn off personalized ads from Google in Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of other vendors' cookies for personalized ads at aboutads.info or with the Network Advertising Initiative.

If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your browsing. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland will be asked through a Google-certified consent message before ad cookies are used.

Apart from advertising, we do not currently run analytics tools such as Google Analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage, not sent to us. The private admin area used by our team uses sign-in cookies.

Vercel hosts the site and processes page requests, which can include standard server logs. Newsletter signups and contact messages are stored in our database, hosted by Neon. These providers handle the data only to run the site for us. Once ads are live, Google will serve them, as described above.

Our guides link to government agencies and other sites. We do not use affiliate links today; if we add any, they will be labeled. Other websites may set their own cookies, and their privacy policies apply on those sites.

We do not sell your information for money. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar laws in other states, letting ad vendors use cookies to target ads based on your activity across sites can count as "selling" or "sharing" data.

Depending on where you live, you can ask to know what we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data and of targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To opt out, use the ad controls above, or email us with "Do Not Sell or Share" in the subject line. We answer other requests within 45 days, the deadline California law sets.

GrantsHubUSA is written for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails. To see or delete the information we hold about you, email us and we will confirm deletion within 30 days.

If you live in the EU or the UK, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us to use them.

When we make material changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be announced in our newsletter.
